Yehuda Ben-Yehuda
Yehuda Ben-Yehuda lives in Ein Hod, an artists commune near Haifa, Israel. While he has lost his sight due to diabetes, he continues to be a visionary, a philospher and a rabble rouser. Yehuda was born in Bagdhad sometime in the 1930s to a family of sock makers and traders. When the Iraqi regime pressured Jews to leave the country, he and his parents and three elder sisters moved to Tel Aviv. He began working in theater during high school and ran with a circle of artists, musicians and thinkers. He married a lovely lady named Ayala and moved to London where he studied at the London Film School. Here his first daughter Donna was born.
