Yehuda Ben-Yehuda

Yehuda Ben-Yehuda lives in Ein Hod, an artists commune near Haifa, Israel. While he has lost his sight due to diabetes, he continues to be a visionary, a philospher and a rabble rouser. Yehuda was born in Bagdhad sometime in the 1930s to a family of sock makers and traders. When the Iraqi regime pressured Jews to leave the country, he and his parents and three elder sisters moved to Tel Aviv. He began working in theater during high school and ran with a circle of artists, musicians and thinkers. He married a lovely lady named Ayala and moved to London where he studied at the London Film School. Here his first daughter Donna was born

הוא עצם את עיניו מרוב כאב. פקח מעט את עיניו וחשב שהוא רואה כפול, אבל הוא לא ראה כפול: באמת היו שם כבר שני צבועים. אחר כך חמישה, שמונה, עשרה, חמישה עשר... עם רב ונורא של החברה קדישה של הטבע הקיף אותו בציפייה דרוכה.
הוא לא חש כל שנאה כלפי הצבועים. הם יודעים מה שהם יודעים לעשת, זהו תפקידם. גם הוא אכל הרבה חיות שחוטות בחייו.
כעת גם קולות העיט וחבריו העופות הדורסים החלו להישמע מלמעלה. הצבועים לא התכוונו להמתין למתחרים. אחד תפס בלחי הימנית, אחר בשוק השמאלית וחמישה עטו על בטנו...
